There's something so romantic about a pink house.
No matter the size, style or condition a pink house is always more charming.

It would be a dream to have a pink bungalow vacation home.

Another day, another interview... literally.

I interviewed yesterday afternoon and was invited for a second interview scheduled at the end of this week. I'm sure many of you out there have recently found yourself unemployed and playing the interview game.
So I thought you might like to see what I wear when interviewing. I like to keep it simple but conservative with attention to detail. Perfectly held back hair, polished fingernails and shoes.

Skirt: Express
Jacket: Tailor made in China
Shell: Crisp white lycra tank from The Limited
Shoes: Patent nude BCBG's

A biannual convention in which I thoroughly look forward to twice a year was held this past weekend in Palm Springs, CA. Lots of time to mingle with friends, meet with leadership figures and network...all over a few too many cocktails in a beautiful resort ;)

P.S. I ran into a handfull of people at the convention who told me they follow my blog! A majority of them being men...I was so flattered!
Thank you!

"I love you, most ardently, you've bewitched me body and soul."
- Mr. Darcy
Mr. and Mrs. Darcy
This is a tribute to my very favorite work turned film. I can't get enough of it, whether it's reading the book time and time again, or falling asleep to the movie. I get lost in the romance between Lizzy and Mr. Darcy...it's magical.
I fall in love every time.

I love trying new things and even though denim on denim has been "out" for the longest time, I think its making a comeback. I paired a lighter denim button-up collared shirt from Gap and a pair of rolled up jean shorts from Forever 21.
I wore my classic Chanel handbag in gold, simple jewelry and wedge platforms.
To achieve this look its best to loosely tuck in the top and choose a slightly higher-cut jean short rather than a low-rise option.

I admit these celeb closets are over the top...I mean how many pairs of shoes does Mariah Carey have? And Eva Longoria's jean selection looks like the inventory at Bloomingdales!

But a girl can dream, can't she???

We will not tire, we will not falter, and we will not fail-
(George W. Bush, Speech after the 9/11 attacks)

"And I'm proud to be an American
Where at least I know I'm free.
And I won't forget the men who died
Who gave that right to me.
And I gladly stand up next to you
And defend her still today.
Cause there ain't no doubt I love this land.
God bless the U. S. A. "

(This isn't me...It's Elin Kling a gorgeous Swedish stylist.
I just thought it was the perfect photo for this post...)

Silverlake Pills (Gui Boratto Remix)- Adam Freeland (An awesome electronica piece that is totally bearable, even without vocals)

Third Time (Shave Main Mix)- Levi 5Star (A great rendition of the original mix!)

You're So Vain- Carly Simon (An unforgettable classic)
Best I Ever Had- Drake (New pop rap that has totally sucked me in, very catchy!)

Traveling Light- Markus Schulz (What else can I say, other than Schulz amazes once again)

Sometimes I wish I was sitting back in my meager little apartment on Changle road, getting ready for the day and walking to the metro, traveling a few stops to central shopping areas, having a quick lunch then back home to get ready to dance the night away at local pubs and clubs :)

...Shanghai is such amazing city...

...Nanjing Road...

I think this is a fabulous way to display your beloved books and dvd's in an asthetically pleasing way!
Unfortunately for me, I didn't keep many books from my past, as I either donated them or sold them back to my University.
So the question now is, do I start collecting books for the purpose of putting together a rainbow color-organized library, or collect them slowly over time and eventually reach my goal?

What do you think?
