I interviewed yesterday afternoon and was invited for a second interview scheduled at the end of this week. I'm sure many of you out there have recently found yourself unemployed and playing the interview game.
So I thought you might like to see what I wear when interviewing. I like to keep it simple but conservative with attention to detail. Perfectly held back hair, polished fingernails and shoes.
A biannual convention in which I thoroughly look forward to twice a year was held this past weekend in Palm Springs, CA. Lots of time to mingle with friends, meet with leadership figures and network...all over a few too many cocktails in a beautiful resort ;)
P.S. I ran into a handfull of people at the convention who told me they follow my blog! A majority of them being men...I was so flattered!
"I love you, most ardently, you've bewitched me body and soul."
- Mr. Darcy
Mr. and Mrs. Darcy
This is a tribute to my very favorite work turned film. I can't get enough of it, whether it's reading the book time and time again, or falling asleep to the movie. I get lost in the romance between Lizzy and Mr. Darcy...it's magical.
I love trying new things and even though denim on denim has been "out" for the longest time, I think its making a comeback. I paired a lighter denim button-up collared shirt from Gap and a pair of rolled up jean shorts from Forever 21.
I wore my classic Chanel handbag in gold, simple jewelry and wedge platforms.
To achieve this look its best to loosely tuck in the top and choose a slightly higher-cut jean short rather than a low-rise option.
Sometimes I wish I was sitting back in my meager little apartment on Changle road, getting ready for the day and walking to the metro, traveling a few stops to central shopping areas, having a quick lunch then back home to get ready to dance the night away at local pubs and clubs :)
