Lots of you know another one of my obsessions is Swedish style and culture....
This past weekend was the annual Midsummer celebration, one of Sweden's largest celebrated holidays.
Summer in Sweden is particularly short and only lasts until September at the latest.
The three short months of summer are celebrated by welcoming the season with highly celebrated Midsummer parties!
I posted some of my favorite photos from this year's celebrations I found on my favorite blogs and of my Swedish friends too :)
One day I will make it to Sweden for Midsommar!
(Insert Alex here, next year!)

ReplyDeleteI actually live in sweden and It's really cool to see someone being into "the swedish culture" but honestly your not missing out so much, it's really cold here. Right now (october) it's like below 0 Celsius. And I'm so, so jealouse of you for living in sunny california. But I hope your little midsummer dream comes true one day, peace!
