PEARLS, CRYSTALS AND GEMS...OH MY!

I really have more in common with asian girls than anyone else and sometimes I think I should have been born either Chinese or Japanese...This is the third phone  I've covered with crystals, pearls, gems and random cute trinkets. Unfortunately, the photos don't capture the true brilliance of the crystals, but I'm sure you get the point ;)
Here's a tip if you ever plan on turning your current, in my opinion "offensive" and boring black or grey phone into a one of a kind masterpiece: I only use good quality stones which I buy in surplus (still not inexpensive) because they shine brighter than diamonds, where as the lower quality stones are dull at best. It's definitely worth every cent...I mean look at it...It's so pretty, I could just eat it!

MATERIALS USED:
-Thick, pinky-white nail polish to cover the desired area.
-Good quality glue.
-Tweezers.
-Toothpicks.
-Good quality crystals in different sizes (Swarovski).
-Large gems or flat backed trinkets.

THE RACK

It's a rare event that I leave Nordstrom Rack without a pair of shoes.
I was especially excited this round because I found some super trendy, comfy and marked down platforms that I'll be able to use through the winter and into summer. I've been looking for a pair of either short, structured, motorcycle style boots or shoes similar to the ones I found- with a thick upper leather strap. When I came across these by Steve Madden and noticed how much they'd been marked down, I didn't think twice. I'll definitely be wearing these puppies with "boyfriend" socks and skinny jeans in the winter and with everything else in the summer!
Not only did I score on the shoes but I found a great pair of Marc Jacobs aviator sunglasses with detailed hinges and arms!
Lucky Day!

STEVE MADDEN PLATFORMS AFTER MARKDOWN: $25.93

MARC JACOBS AVIATORS: $34.97

Also! I won a GIVEAWAY yesterday!
The oh so lovely and super stylish Coco from Closet Full of Nothing sponsored an adorable giveaway last week. This ice cream bowl is to die for and the cute little heart spoon is even more! I'll just have to find a way to convince myself that I can eat something other than ice cream from it ;)

STAY TUNED

So, I've been slowly introducing my youtube and blog accounts to each other, but was originally reluctant because I wasn't sure If my blog readers and youtube watchers would be interested in the other. However, most recently I have noticed many of my loyal youtube subscribers are coming to check out my blog and vis versa! *YAY*
If you watch my videos, you will know I promised when I reached 1,000 subscribers, I would hold a giveaway to thank you for your support!
Yesterday, while I was out, I came across an adorable little Chanel-esq handbag and was immediately inspired. I decided that for the giveaway, I'll fill the purse with random things I love and have spoken about on my videos and blog. I'm not limiting the prizes to makeup, and will include jewelry as well! Keep checking back over the next week, both here and on myyoutube to see when I announce that i have reached my 1,000th subscriber, and lay terms for the giveaway!

WANT A PIECE OF ME?

HELLO AND GOOD MORNING!
I hope everyone had a lovely weekend! For my Monday post, I thought it would be a good idea to further help us all ride out the recession by creating an ebay account. I thought it would make more sense to sell some items, that I love and would rather pass on to you (my blog and youtube subscribers <3) than give them away to strangers. Take a look at what I have up so far by clicking the link below, and keep checking back because I'll periodically be adding more items :)

I totally and completely stepped out of my comfort zone today and wore not only a bright color but a bold print! I came across the super cute stunner-shade clad Minnie Mouse tee at Forever 21 and instantly fell in love. She's absolutely adorable and needless to say, I had to sport her cuteness.

FABULOUS JEWELRY FINDS FOR UNDER $10

Once again I find myself baffled by how inexpensive and relatively well made Forever 21's jewelry is! If I'm looking for costume jewelry of any kind, Forever 21 is my pick. They always have such an amazing selection and each piece rarely exceeds $10. Designer costume jewelry found in boutiques and department stores is seriously the same quality and can reach onwards of hundreds of dollars...
Here are a few pieces I plan on picking up this week :)
