THE HAIRCUT:

Here's how my hair turned out...I like it, but I don't love it...

Because I went to an Asian salon, they used the common Asian feathering/thinning shears and literally took out half of the weight of my hair. 

When I put my hair back now, I have such little weight to it anymore and my pony tail looks like a little girl's pony tail :( I like the cut, but not how incredibly light and thin my hair is.

...I wont be going back to an Asian salon...

BANGS. YAY OR NAY?

I haven't had my hair cut in over three months and need a little sprucing up. My layers are starting to look heavy and  are disappearing.
The problem is, I'm super picky about my hair style, that's why I color my own hair...I haven't left once salon satisfied with the color of my hair when I let a stylist do it.
When I lived in Shanghai, I paid around $1 for a hair cut and style and was always satisfied! I SO miss getting my hair done in China :(
I did some research and luckily one about a half hour from my city, there is a large Asian community.  I looked online and read reviews to try and find a good Asian salon. I made an appointment and am going to get my hair cut and styled tomorrow, yay!
I'm not sure if I should cut thick Asian style bangs or just have them re-cut my layers and leave long farrah style, whispy bangs.

The line consists of different types and gauges of chains and each is accented with an embellished focal pendant and set in a beautiful filigree setting.

The sets are made of either one or two long chains and a shorter chain with an accented pendant. 

I have both gold and silver sets and I can interchange the beautiful pendants into the metal color of your choice.

LOVE YOU GIRLS

First I have to say how incredibly grateful I am to all of you! I've been receiving such kind and supportive emails and comments from you that have really helped me keep confident during my first days of work! I never expected that I would make friends through blogging and youtube....But I definitely have! xoxo

On another note....I have found it to be difficult and too time consuming to either blowdry or curl my hair each morning. I need to find some easy, quick and cute do's that wont take 20 minutes of my morning (i love my sleep). 

I think Victoria Beckham looks fabulous here and her hair looks simply tied back and so pretty.

THE FIRST DAY

GOOD MORNING EVERYONE! AND HAPPY MONDAY!

TODAY IS THE FIRST DAY OF MY NEW JOB....ACTUALLY IT'S THE DAY THAT I START MY CAREER! ALL OF MY HARD WORK AND YEARS OF PURSUING MY EDUCATION SEEMS TO FINALLY BE PAYING OFF :) 

I DID A LOT OF SHOPPING THIS WEEKEND FOR OFFICE APPROPRIATE CLOTHES, WHICH WAS SO FUN! GOOD NEWS IS, BECAUSE  THE CEO AND MOST OF THE EMPLOYEES ARE RATHER YOUNG, THE DRESS CODE IS SLIGHTLY RELAXED SO I WAS ABLE TO BUY CLOTHES THAT I CAN WEAR TO WORK AND ON THE WEEKENDS.  THE OFFICE BUILDING IS BEAUTIFUL AND LOCATED IN SUCH A GREAT AREA! I HAVE SUCH GOOD FEELINGS ABOUT MY FUTURE WITH THE COMPANY...WISH ME LUCK!

PS. I FOUND THE EXACT HAREM PANTS AT ZARA THAT ELIN KLING WAS WEARING IN THE PHOTO BELOW...THANKS FOR EVERYONE'S EMAILS AND ADVICE!

JUST MASCARA

Now that spring is nearing and summer is just around the corner, what do you say we go for a more bohemian, natural-easy daytime makeup look for our eyes? Typically, I wear liquid eyeliner EVERYDAY....but today I thought I'd try an easier and less fussy look. I just wore mascara and forgot the eyeliner.

F.21 SUMMER WISH LIST

I am more than excited to update my summer wardrobe this year! I just love the modern/ updated 80's feel the designers are putting out...short-loose tees, rompers, high waisted shorts, tunic and open back mini dresses! 

Forever 21 has such adorable things for the season, and as usual...so inexpensive! I love all the bright colors and pretty fabrics they're using! I'll be making a trip to a large Forever 21 this week to be sure to find what's on my wish list! I'll keep you updated through youtube on my choices...xx
