GOD BLESS OUR BRAVE TROOPS

I hope everyone has a wonderful weekend and Memorial Day! 

This memorial day will be especially meaningful to me because my baby brother will be leaving for Officers Training Camp. 

He is one of very few who were accepted into an extremely rigorous and exclusive   flight school to be a Lieutenant  fighter pilot for the Unites States Marines.  

Needles to say my family and I are are gushing with pride. 

I have always held a deep respect and extreme gratitude for the men and women who serve our country and fight for our freedom, but for me.....now more than ever.

ALEX RAIDED THE ASIAN SUPERMARKET....AGAIN.

I was craving a Taiwanese salty coffee today so I stopped for one on the way home. In the same shopping center as my favorite coffee shop, is the most amazing Asian supermarket that stocks the yummiest and cutest snacks ever. Seriously, why is everything Asian so cute? And, I can't ever leave without a Shanghai egg tart.....I'll pay for that one on the scale in the morning :( 

WEEK WRAPUP

HEY LADIES! 

I'm so sorry for the post shortage last week! Needless to say, I was super busy and had to call in sick to work early in the week so I got a little behind because of the two days I missed..... had more birthday celebration plans and life to deal with so unfortunately my little blog took a back seat for a week. ugh. But, I want to catch all my friends up so....Here's what you missed!

I totally fed my need to replace every color in my wardrobe with a nude color when I scored on a beautiful Calvin Klein vanilla boyfriend blazer similar to this one:

I decided to get acrylic gell nails (shaped rounded and only with clear powder) for a very natural look:

Birthday celebrations continued with more of my beautiful friends for dinner, drinks and dancing at a gorgeous luxury hotel near my home:

My brother ended his second to last semester at college on Friday and has recently been accepted into the Marines flight school as a Lieutenant. Such a proud sister.

This weekend was lovely... coffee and a nap on the beach and a crazy bike ride into Venice Beach for lunch.

THE WEEKEND OF WEEKENDS

My beloved Blackberry Bold is nearing it's last days....Not only do I have to constantly reboot it, but today the battery cover's clasps split, now I'm using tape to keep it closed. ugh. Recently I decided that my next phone will be the ever-anticipated  iphone G4. Does anyone know the exact release date is, or know of a website that has legit leaked photos? 

On a happier note, my birthday weekend was insanely crazy and of course fun-filled with rooftop pool parties, and hotel after parties. 

Definitely the best weekend I've had in a while!

I've only seen them on one site for $125 and don't really want to pay that much for plastic bangles that I'll likely only wear a couple times. 

P.S. Today I decided to exchange the pink Chanel for an almond, caviar with gold hardware. It will be here in a day or so!

DISASTER

For those of you who follow my youtube channel, thank you so much for the advice and suggestions as to whether or not I should exchange my lambskin not-so-powder pink jumbo flap for the caviar almond jumbo flap. 

Here are photos of my handbag, and as you can see, its NOT a pretty pink. 

I'm almost angry that Chanel would try to pull this and send a bag that is clearly not the same powder pink saw. They must have known and seen that it was either a floor model and touched too much or put in a window where the sun and elements might have damaged it.

...Am I color blind? This is NOT pink...

Here is the almond color in caviar with gold hardware that I will be exchanging it for...

You can tell that the caviar leather, though nowhere near as supple as the lambskin will hold its shape and true color much better. 

I received the prettiest lacey sac with lots of gorgeous lipsticks, gloss and eye products from a subscriber and friend! Thank you Reena! <3
