OF THE HAPPIEST AND SWEETEST LITTLE HAMMIE WHO EVER LIVED...
Last night my precious little hammie Shau Shu passed.
She lived a long and loved life and though I'm heartbroken, I know she left after a very happy life.

There wasn't a day I didn't play with her, let her explore a different part of my place out of her cage, and give her a variety of her favorite treats every night before bed.
Last night, before bed I went to put a drop of peanut butter in her cage as I did every night. Usually she scurries to her cage's door when she hears me call but this time she didn't.
I found her laying peacefully nestled in her cedar.

...I will so miss her little face greeting me every time I walked past her cage....
She truly was the most loving little thing and brought me lots of joy.

I always wanted her to be as happy as she could be <3
She always kept me company while I worked :)
I made her a little hammock which she loved to play in >.<

Oh Alex, I am so sorry for the loss of your little hammie. She was so blessed to have your love and care for so long, just as you were to have her sweet presence in your life. Hope you can find some comfort with your new bun bun tonight.

ReplyDeleteso sorry for your lost...I know exactly how u feel...my cat sunny boy passed away back in sept and I am still sad about it but I kno he is in a better place, he truly was my ray of light...ur shau shu had a wonderful life and a lovly owner! sorry again for your lost

Oh what a sweet little hamster. I am so sorry for your loss. Animals bring us such joy and I know I love mine more than anything. When I was younger I had a pet mouse named Princess and she was the sweetest little girl ever. She lived a long, happy life and was such a cute, chunky ball of fluff :) Thinking about her brings me joy because I know she lived a good life.

ReplyDeleteAhhh...so sorry! It's so hard to lose a pet..they are family too. I dread the day I have to face that reality with my little pekingese Oreo. :( But they do bring so much happiness and laughter to life! I'm sure Shau Shu is enjoying some treats in Hammie Heaven :)

Not to be cruel or anything... and not say I'm sorry for your loss. Even though I really am. How did you get the hello kitty icon on your dock? I've been trying and just can't figure it out.

Aw thats so sad Shau shu was such a cute hamster-last night my bf and I had to bring one of our bunnies at the emergency vet bc she stopped eating/drinking/pooping for hours and gave symptoms that she was having a tummy ache and its super hard to tell with bunnies when they're in pain- we thought she was going to die and we barely had any sleep last night. The stuff we got from the vet helped her gain her appetite back just this morning-what a relief. Again sorry for your loss. How long did Shau Shu live? if you dont mind me asking.
ReplyDeleteI had two amazing little hamsters years ago and they truly have personalities of their own and can be the most loving little creatures ever, and anyone who hasn't had a hamster would have no idea.. I am so sorry for your loss, animals are amazing creatures whom we are so lucky to have in our lives and she was a wonderful part of yours. <3
