Many of my subbies have gathered that I live in southern California. It's a beautiful and diverse area with amazing weather.
Very often I receive emails from my readers asking what I would recommend on their visit.
Here are MY suggestions...which I have broken down into three large cities...that pretty much break down most of Southern California.
I hope this helps those of you who have trips planned to visit sunny CA!

SAN DIEGO:
San Diego is known for their beaches, but what I love San Diego for is the partying!
NIGHT CLUB: Fluxx and Voyeur (Both located Downtown)
DAY PARTIES: Intervention at the Hard Rock hotel. Wavehouse in Mission Beach.
BARS: 207 located in the Hard Rock hotel.
HOTELS: Hard Rock and the Manchester Grand Hyatt.
ORANGE COUNTY:
SHOP: South Coast Plaza for some intense shopping and Fashion Island for lovely shops in an outdoor setting. Long Beach Airport for my favorite swap meet.
EAT: My favorite restaurant and the best junk Mexican food, El Torito. Mastros Ocean Club for butter cake dessert. Crow Bar for a glass of wine and S'mores dessert. 85 Degree Cafe for sea salt coffee and Chinese bread.
LAGUNA BEACH: Royal Hawaiian restaurant for a delish drink called the "Lapu Lapu". The Rooftop Bar and Las Brisas for Guacamole and a beautiful sunset. Their many intimate cove shored beaches.
LOS ANGELES:
SHOP: The Grove, Robertson drive, Third street promenade.
EAT: Bottega Louie.
ETC: The Getty museum, Royal T, Rollerblading through Venice Beach.
HOTELS: SLS, The Viceroy and The Roosevelt or Drai's for fun daytime pool parties.
