Random snapshots from my life as of lately:
Maroon lips, H&M forest green blouse, HRH Collection Silver Cuff necklace and tousled hair.
This and a variation thereof seem to be my
signature look these days.
Some new bottles for my bar cart to add more options as well as keeping with my monochromatic decor.
My newest "food" addiction: Alain Millait raspberry nectar.
In Shanghai we used to sip the most delicious fresh raspberry martinis at a fabulous bar on the Bund called Laris. I haven't been able to find a similar version since I left CN, until I came across this raspberry nectar.
Looking forward to trying the morello cherry as well.
New Steve Madden chunky heels
found at Marshalls and totally in love.
Very Miu Miu esq, no?
I was completely allured by the smell inside of one of my newest fashion magazines and found it was BVLGARI's Jasmine Noir sample. Bloomingdales had a gift set of two, for day and night. I'm loving sensual fragrance, perfect for the cold seasons ahead.

This past Tuesday night was the Beauty and Fashion Vloggers Alliance event, hosted  at the Hollywood museum.
I was so thrilled to be a part of it!
It was great to finally meet other gurus I had been watching even before I started my channel! They were all so sweet, it felt like I had known them for years :)
We spent the night chitchatting over pretty hors d'oeuvres, manicures and beauty applications.
Because I had a meeting the next morning near the event location, I decided to stay at a little boutique hotel I've been wanting to visit, Petite Ermitage. It was unique, small and unexpected with pretty rooftop gardens,  relaxing lounges by the pool and yummy cocktails...The definition of Bohemian Chic.
It was quiet when I checked in, the perfect atmosphere for sitting buy the pool and catching up on work.

What I wore:

With some of my favorite gurus <3

Meetings today and hopefully tracking down an iPhone 4GS....
Thinking about giving one a second chance! <3
Hope everyone has a fabulous weekend!

Even though we're being robbed of beautiful fall weather by a nasty heat wave here in Southern California, I still wanted to welcome in the season with festive fall decor.
I picked up a few mini pumpkins in different colors, carved out the top and placed tea lights inside.
So simple and festive.
Staying true to my monochromatic decor, I bought a large white "fairytale" pumpkin, who sits perfectly on my entertainment center.(I also picked up a little one for Bao which I will definitely show in an upcoming post.)A few new candles from Marshalls and my skull vodka bottle all grouped together, make for chic yet simple decor.
Now, if we could only have some crisp, fall weather!
{Three snaps of my entertainment center}

Just some quick OOTD photos before I headed
 out for a meeting today.
So many decisions to make in the near future that
 are seriously keeping me busy!
Hope everyone is having a great week so far!
Blazer: H&M. Top: random black tank. Sequins shorts: Club Monaco. Shoes: Nina. Rebeca Minkoff Handbag: c/o. Sunnies: H&M. Necklace:            HRH Collection(Silver version of It's All the Rage)

I'm so ready for the weekend!
Especially one filled with a weekend getaway.
Every year my family makes our way to
San Diego to celebrate my mom's birthday.
I'm excited to celebrate, sip amazing bloody mary's on the deck, get some sun and shopping in and hopefully meet up with
friends at night!
Hope everyone has a fabulous weekend!
See you Monday!

When I found out Elin Kling had her own magazine I asked a Swedish childhood friend to send one to me.
She kindly did without hesitation.
Thank you so much, Sara!
My A Wang's shiny rose gold feet
My girly Deborah Lippmann nail polishes in Happy Birthday and Bad Romance.
Sequins shorts from Club Monaco I found on sale.
My go-to lipsticks as of lately: Maybelline's Plum Perfect and Chanel's Evasion.

If you're as busy as me, you know what it's like to get home from a day of meetings and have literally five minutes to spruce and freshen up for a night out.
If so, you may find this quick video helpful!

I recently picked up a few things while shopping
for my mom's birthday, which is tomorrow!
{Happy Birthday to the seriously,
BEST mommy in the entire world <3}
Sachajuan Ocean Mist hair spray from Sephora
and a fragrance from Zara.
I haven't tried either yet, but  have high hopes
for the Swedish made hair
spray that should give a non- fuss, beachy look.
At Zara, I spotted what I though was a pet carrier.
I have been looking for one but have been more than
unimpressed with what I've come across.
It isn't intended to be a pet carrier but is the perfect shape and if I don't zip it closed, is perfect for carrying Bao Bao, when I need to take him out.

Though I don't necessarily love the Real Housewives reality show saga, after seeing the restaurant, Villa Blanca, owned by one of the Beverly Hills housewives on the show, I immediately thought it would be a perfect girls night out venue.
Not too far from where I live and closer to our other girlfriends, we all met for dinner and drinks over the weekend.
The restaurant was beautiful and cozy.
Gorgeous, fresh flower pieces throughout and centerpieces on each table.
I would definitely go back, but more for the ambience than the food.
Though my raspberry Mojito (hold the mint) was pretty amazing.
Some girls headed to Hollywood while myself and the rest made our way downtown where we had drinks on a swanky rooftop bar and closed out the night at a friends historic flat.
He brilliantly played Beatles classics on his grand piano into the
wee hours of the night for us.
It was fabulous!
