Good deals and girly treats always put a smile on my face.
If I'm having an especially stressful week, stopping by my favorite department store cosmetic counter and trying a new lipstick, always seems to make things better.
I originally planned to stop by the YSL counter to try their potted creme to powder Blush, but ultimately wasn't excited with the dry consistency. I found a Gel Blush form, in a bright, summery peach color. Perfect for giving my cheeks and lips a hint of color.
The Barbie pink Lipstick is just that, the perfect Barbie pink! I could't pass it up.
Shocking Mascara and Touche Eclat are two items I've always wanted to try but have been hesitant in investing in full sized products. I saw that they were available in a mini size pack, perfect for giving them a whirl.
My first Equipment blouse.
I love the flowy blouse look, but couldn't justify spending $200+ on a blouse who's quality is as good as others I have purchased from Zara, and ones I have designed for myself, for less than half that price. When I spotted this beautiful pink snake print pattern a few months ago, I nearly caved.... but ultimately passed it up after seeing it was made in China...bummer.
I ran to the mall to scope Nordstrom's sale today and though I was unlucky there, I found my pink snake print beauty for a much more reasonable price at Bloomingdales (Similar Here).
Happy tropical punch colored Peonies.
My favorite mini guilty pleasure, Hershey's Kisses in one of my favorite antique milk glass candy dishes. Given to me by my favorite elementary school teacher.
