Hi Everyone! There are only two days left before Christmas and Im just now starting to wrap the presents, place them under the tree and into the stockings!
It's been a fun and hectic holiday season for me! Last week I hosted my first Christmas party for a few friends and our guys. It was a fun night of exchanging carefully chosen gifts, over dinner and drinks and hanging out together. I can't wait until my next little soiree!
Im not a huge fan of the typical red and green Christmas decor colors and opt for metallics and white. This year I added a hint of blush pink to my usual white and silver scheme for a romantic winter wonderland feel.
... and for more and glimpse at my entire tree, check out my post on the MCM Blog
Don't forget the stocking stuffers! Here are some of my top picks of carefully selected  perfect stocking stuffers!
New favorite  Carven Perfume. My Classic Femme Fatale Tassel Necklace. MCM Key fob wallet. An Iconic Parker PenGirly Emergency Kit

I covered the print I have hung above my bar cart with this adorable DIY swag. I got my inspiration for it from Kristen.  I stenciled the letters in silver and added glitter to the word "darling" for some extra sparkle! I casually hung some glittery ribbon, paper fans and tinsel for more interest.  The possibilities for these swags are endless.
Bao is patiently waiting for Christmas morning to open his presents!
I tried to get him to pose wearing his Christmas scarf, but he looked incredibly unhappy lol.
When I think of planning a party at home I think of incredible details.
I also want to decorate and prepare all of the dishes and drinks rather than hiring out. That's why I think its best to host smaller, more intimate events; this way I can focus on all the details from the decor to the menu, and make all my ideas come to life. For my party I made everything from scratch, except for the brownies; I used my favorite store bought box mix.  The Menu: Fresh fruit tart, Brownies with fudge and coconut frosting, Spanakopita, Margarita puff pastry pizzas, gluten free/ vegetarian pesto and feta pasta, lasagna with spicy sausage and other small bites!
ps. I hope you caught my instagram on the night of my party for pics of us!
We forgot to take some during!
Lots of love! xx alex
